“Why just walk with God when you can also run, skip, and jump?”

Kathy Bishop grew up in Augusta, Kansas. She went to Oklahoma Christian University in 1982 majoring in Business. Mrs. Bishop moved back to Kansas in 1991 and began a career in banking as a mortgage underwriter. She left the corporate world in 2001 to stay home with her four bundles of joy: Reagan, Lacey, Lawson and Luke. Kathy is married to Brad Bishop who is currently working as an electrical contractor. Mrs. Bishop and her family live on a runway in Valley Center, KS with a 5-pound teacup poodle named Patty Wagstaff.

About performing at the Women Walking with God Conference, Kathy has this to say:

“What an honor it is to be a part of such an awesome experience. I have always felt that a merry heart is imperative to surviving in today's world. You can laugh your way to a better, more fulfilling life. I have four teenagers at home—if I didn’t laugh, I’d be curled up in the fetal position hiding inside the dishwasher (believe me, they’d never find me in there!). I’m looking forward to April—filling the auditorium with big smiles, big hearts, and a lot of laughter. Why just walk with God when you can also run, skip, and jump?”
